A little bit about time... You may be wondering what's up with the months...
At Spring Grove Equestrian we use a different time setting than that which is recommended on Equus. This is because I feel more comfortable with the time frames I have compiled. One year = 12 real life days, so horses age about every 1.5 weeks and live (assuming 30 years) 360 real days. This way I can also establish months, which allows me to follow a more realistic breeding protocol.
August of Year 7 Today is Hawk's (a.k.a. BWPH Windcatcher) 7th birthday! We received this handsome stud as a welcoming gift from Black Wolf Performance Horses when we joined on Equestriad. He is an APH show jumper/hunter jumper. He is currently registered with Plaza Farms statistic-based showing, and has earned the title of Intermediate Competitor with total of 90 points. We hope on registering him with Equus and performing in his disciplines here! We are excited to see his performance at the show running on 04/26! Also, in the month of September he will be bred to our Crabbet Arabian mare - Sunny. We are very excited to see how his future foal turns out!

Today is Sunny's 4th birthday! As of today her pregnancy by BWPH Windcatcher has been confirmed and we are expecting her to foal in August of Year 8! Can't wait for this flashy foal to be born! This lovely gal was purchased by us from Aspen Ridge Stables as a yearling and now we are awaiting her first foal!

She is a beauty. I love that copper color. And such a gorgeous head. Is that an edited photo? I don't think I've ever seen one of my horses throw their tail to the side like that. Beautiful.

Kaitlin it's both - a custom pose I made and it's edited. The custom pose has been made to position the tail like that here is a photo of the tail-unedited.

October of Year 7Today is SGE Bold Magic's birthday! On that note he is also entering the Hidden Springs Dressage Show at his adult 10 years of age. It is only his 2nd show on Equus and first since we have been back. He is an American Cream Draft, and has so far studded one foal, the plan is to breed him with lighter breeds to produce grade horses with the gentle temperament and versatility of an ACD. This is a few days late...

January of Year 8We have recently registered SGE Bold Magic in a liberty show hosted by Black Wolf Performance horses. This is a private, non-Equus-Sims show. We plan on entering most if not all of our horses in this show. This will also be one of the last shows SGE Lady In Disguise (an american cream draft mare) enters as she is soon to reach age 10. As of September of Year 9 she will become a broodmare. We just can't decide whom to breed her to. Any ideas? Feel free to visit my page to view the stallions or suggest your own stallions if you like, I do like breeding outside the stable for variety. Should the foal be a cross-breed or pure-breed ACD? So many things to think about! Meanwhile, here is Magic's show entry!

Gorgeous horse. I've never seen one in reallife but had a couple on my Farmville farm when I was playing that.
